The access professional needs to keep up to date with developments in many fields. These may be published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, some of which are subject-specific and others generalist.

The most well known Health Policy and Health Economics journals are listed in subpages, along with a brief description, the Impact Factor and Cite Score measures, and a link to the journal.

Also given are links to some of the better known national medical journals, many of which comment on health policy matters, and to the international issues of the Lancet that cover an expanding set of world regions.

Additional, non-scientific publications  may provide regulatory, political or commercial news, analysis or comment but these are too numerous and too diverse to provide helpful recommendations here.
