Access associations
Relatively few international access associations are active, due to the relatively recent establishment of the profession. However a number have begun to hold meetings and their details are given below.
Market Access Society (MAS)
The Market Access Society was founded in 2012 by Professor Mondher Toumi to promote and advance the field of market access. It is headquartered in Paris.
Soon after the Society's founding, the intensive six week long European University Diploma of Market Access (EMAUD) course was created to address the growing need for development of professionals with expertise in market access and health policy, and continues to be held annually. In 2013 the Journal of Market Access & Health Policy was launched and publishes once a quarter.
The annual 'Market Access Day' conference is held at the Sorbonne University, Paris.

ACCESS Forum
The ACCESS Forum started life as the International Market Access Society, holding its inaugural conference in Miami in April 2023, and rebranding shortly after its Budapest conference in October of the same year.
ACCESS Forum has a global remit, with wide industry and academia participation in its executive advisory board and scientific committee.
It is maintaining its two conferences a year in Miami and Europe in 2024, when the European location is Barcelona.
